Learning and Development Partner (Interim)
About the job
Wall Street English is looking for a Learning and Development Partner with specific experience in LMS systems administration and data management to join our L&D team in Barcelona office on a 6-month interim basis.
The successful candidate will be a key player in maintaining our LMS for our internal customers, managing and enrolling users onto learning pathways, reporting, data management uploads, and inputting into the creation of multimedia training content. Knowledge of e-learning content design is desirable.
What you will be doing:
Managing the Learning Management System in terms of data integrity, maintenance, administration of users and content as well as quality.Maintaining great relationships with our internal customers.Producing learning reports and communicating this to the business via newsletter.E-learning content design if applicable.
LMS
Manage a Learning Management System (LearnUpon) as the main administrator.Respond to our internal customers’ LMS queries and support their navigation of the platform, including reporting.Integrate HR data into the LMS to enhance our reporting capabilities.Maintain project documentation and course folders.Maintain ‘housekeeping’ of LMS user data.Communicate to key stakeholders (global audience) on user completion and project progress via quarterly newsletters.Work in collaboration with the L&D team to ensure the content on the learning platform is of an exceptional standard.
Data Management
Work with subject experts internally and externally to keep projects on track.Gather and integrate/upload HR data onto the LMS system to support our reporting enhancements.Sensitivity in communicating across a multicultural and global audience.
Feedback and Reporting
Gather feedback. Assist in collecting feedback from community members about their experiences and preferences.Gather user data from territories to analyze learner progress and feed into wider L&D stakeholder reports.
Content Design, if applicable
Integrate multimedia files with learning content onto LMS platform.Work with subject matter experts and identify the target audience’s training needs in content design.(Desirable) Create engaging e-learning with compelling course content (using Articulate 360 Suite, iSpring, Adobe Creative Suite) for specific identified courses that launch this year via the LMS.Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process.Creating, designing, and producing engaging, relevant, and scalable course content to drive the financial performance of centers across the Wall Street English global network.
We’d like to hear from you if you have:
L&D experience – specifically in administering LMS systems.Experience in managing sensitive data/LMS reporting.Communication and influencing skills.A global mindset, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to relate to and work effectively across cultures.Some experience in creating engaging e-learning content (iSpring/Articulate 360).
Nice to have
Ability to edit audio/video.Visual design skills and ability to storyboard.Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts.Knowledge of course development software (iSpring Courses, Adobe Creative Suite, and Articulate 360 suite).Experience and understanding of working within a franchise operation.Knowledge and experience designing various blended learning materials, e.g., training videos, self-led tasks, assessments, etc.Native or bilingual speaker of English. Second language, Spanish preferable.
Interim work schedule:
Hybrid (2 days in the office/3 days from home). The office is located in the city center of Barcelona.
